Bells Restoration Appeal

Bells before restorationThe bells at St Peter and St Paul's Church had not seen a major refurbishment since 1907 so they were long overdue for retuning and repair work. The grillage and frame in the tower also needed major structural work to bring the quality of the bells back to their former glory.

Bells after restorationThere is so much to tell about this long-term project which was launched in October 2006. The project came to a wonderful conclusion in September 2008 when the Bishop of Taunton, The Right Revd Peter Maurice presided over the rededication service.
