Kids' Praise

Who is it for?

Kids' Praise was launched in October 2008 and runs on the 1st Sunday of the month. The service is designed to give young children (under 9 year olds) an opportunity to worship Jesus in a relaxed environment. We believe children should be involved in worship, chatting to Jesus and ministering to one another. Kids' Praise gives children the opportunity to explore and express their faith creatively.

What o Kids' Praise kids do?

Kids' Praise includes lively worship songs, games, and interactive Bible story, breakfast, creative prayer time and lots of biscuits.

What else?

The service is 'kid friendly': We project song words and graphics so there are no service sheets and plenty to stimulate the children. We use short kids' praise songs with words that are easy to learn. The kids don't need to be able to read. We keep the floor clear so the kids can move about, dance and sing. We keep the service short (about 35 minutes) with lots of action and opportunities for the kids to join in.

The service is 'adult friendly: There are toys and a craft activity to keep kids amused if needed. There are baby-changing and bottle warming facilities. The kids are encouraged to be as noisy and active as possible - so parents can also relax and enjoy worshipping Jesus.
