Fun In The Park
17th July from 10.00 until 12 noon. Fun for all the family with Giant Jenga, Connect 4 and rounders. Free drinks. This is a Churches Together initiative and will continue on every 2nd Saturday in the month
The Rector's Leaving Party
Saturday July 24th at the Parish Church. BBQ, cream teas, punch and fun and games for the family. Musical entertainment in the church with performances by David Goode, The Choir, In Spirit, Jazz Trio. Tickets are available from the Parish Office (required for food and drinks). No charge! Presentations and speeches start in the church at 18.45. We hope to see you there!
The Gathering . . .
. . . is a meeting of Christians from the different Shepton Churches at the Salvation Army Citadel. We meet to help build a prayerful community and to respond to the needs of our town. Men's Breakfast
The men's breakfast meetings have been running for nearly twenty years and currently take place approximately every month at The Shrubbery, 17 Commercial Road, Shepton Mallet. The meetings start at 08.30 and finish around 10.15.
A healthy full English breakfast is served followed by a talk from a visiting speaker. Cost is just £7.00 per person £2.00 of which goes to charity.
All are welcome to join in this popular Saturday morning feast whatever your religious background. Please contact the parish office not less than 48 hours before the meeting if you wish to attend, or speak to James Kendall on 01749 347683
